Pilot project for remote inspection of destroyed housing in the TOT

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine supported the initiative of Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko to remotely inspect destroyed housing in the temporarily occupied territories.

From now on, aerial photography can be used to confirm the destruction of housing in the TOT, which will allow people to receive compensation for destroyed property even before de-occupation.

"This is a very important project for Mariupol, as Russians are demolishing destroyed houses and building new ones instead. Therefore, it is extremely important to record the destruction in time and prevent the crimes from being hidden. I thank the Ministry and Ms. Iryna Vereshchuk personally for their support", - Vadym Boichenko.

The project is currently operating in a pilot mode in Melitopol. Later, it will be expanded to other temporarily occupied territories. It should be noted that 56 thousand applications from Mariupol residents who have lost their homes have been registered so far.
