Mariupol is a symbol of Russian war crimes. Murders, bombing of civilian neighbourhoods, hospitals, mass shelters, creation of a humanitarian catastrophe, torture, persecution, abduction of Ukrainian children and violation of all international conventions.
Human losses
Walls can be rebuilt, but lives taken away cannot be returned. Tens of thousands of Mariupol families died during the massive shelling. The occupiers did not give them a single chance to survive.

The right to compensation
Mariupol residents are entitled to compensation for destroyed housing! Thanks to the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Government has developed Law No. 7198, which provides for compensation for destroyed property.
Mariupol is the first Ukrainian city in the Donetsk region to face Russian aggression.
It is the only city in Ukraine that was surrounded and destroyed in the blockade along with the civilian population. With air bombs, hail, rockets - from the ground, from the sky, from the sea. In the closed city, the occupiers created a humanitarian crisis, leaving people without drinking water, food and medicine, electricity, heating and communication. The people of Mariupol have been surviving in superhuman conditions. Now they are witnesses of war crimes.
